Faith Arroisa Nyabuto is an environmental professional, climate advocate, and the Founder and Executive Director of Trees for Healthy Community Organization (THC), a community-based organization committed to environmental conservation, climate awareness, and sustainable development.

With several years of experience in environmental and community-based initiatives, Faith has been involved in environmental education, solid waste management, community clean-ups, tree planting, environmental awareness campaigns, and youth engagement. Her professional experience with the Nairobi City County Department of Environment further strengthened her understanding of urban environmental challenges, environmental management, and the importance of involving communities in developing practical and sustainable solutions.

Faith founded Trees for Healthy Community Organization with the belief that meaningful environmental change begins at the community level. Through THC, she works to make environmental and climate information easier to understand while encouraging schools, young people, families, and communities to take practical action to protect the environment.

One of the organization’s initiatives, Trees for Birthdays, promotes tree planting as a meaningful way of celebrating life while contributing to a healthier environment for future generations. Faith is also the founder of Farro Green, a digital environmental awareness platform created to make climate change, sustainability, and environmental information more accessible through simple and relatable content.

Her commitment to environmental conservation has also received international recognition, including the Environmental Excellence Award at the MTM Awards UK in 2020. She has continued to strengthen her work through professional development and participation in environmental and sustainability-focused programs and forums.

Inspired by the legacy of environmental leaders such as Professor Wangari Maathai, Faith believes that environmental protection is not only about conserving nature but also about improving the health, resilience, and quality of life of communities.

Through Trees for Healthy Community Organization, she continues to champion practical climate action, environmental education, tree growing, sustainable waste management, and greater participation of young people and communities in creating a healthier and more sustainable future.
